Broomfield's Newest Municipal Golf Course
Opened to the public in June 1999,
Broadlands Golf Course is a majestic 18-hole championship course situated on 117 acres in
Broomfield, Colorado. Winding itself around Broadlands' intimate residential
neighborhoods, it is the centerpiece of Broadlands residential community.
Designed by golf course architect Rick Phelps of
Richard M. Phelps, LTD., Broadlands appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The Course's
Head Golf Pro is Tony Principato who is assisted by Chad Buckridge. The panoramic
Broadlands Golf Course features:
- A par-72 tract - plays 7,263
yards from the tips and 5,350 yards from the up tee boxes.
- Expansive fairways - 40 to 60
yards wide, they can handle draws and fades so you're encouraged to take chances off the
tee box.
- Generous greens - pin placement
sheets provide hole placement locations.
- Lush turf conditions - bent grass
greens and perennial rye grass on the fairways and tees.
- Interesting water hazards - 11 of
the 18 holes feature a water hazard including a creek and nine lakes.
- A signature hole - a little
forest hides No. 15's tee box. A 559-yard par-5, the hole is reachable in two, but was
designed to be a three-shot par-5. (NOTE: Item is underlined to indicate a link to the
"Map of Tees" page.)
- A 5,000 square foot clubhouse -
includes a well-stocked PGA pro shop, driving range, practice putting and chipping greens,
two practice bunkers, full food and beverage service and a meeting room.
- Resident owned golf carts -
residents are allowed to use their own golf cart on the course as long as they comply with
the golf cart contract and regulations of the course. Contact EAGL for more information at
