• U.S. 36 Boulder Turnpike, Interstate 25 to the east, Interstate 70 to the south and Colorado Highway 7 to the north.
• Fort Collins to the north and Denver suburbs to the south - via U.S. 287, the main north/south route through Broomfield.
• Mass Transit - Broomfield is a hub for the Regional Transportation District (RTD) which provides full service transportation connecting the city to downtown Denver, DIA and more.
• Denver International Airport (DIA) - Only 30 minutes away. Daily flights in and out of Denver to Europe, Asia, South America and cities across the U.S.
• Versatile Employment Opportunities - Small and large manufacturing and high technology businesses thrive in the area. Interlocken, Denver's fastest growing business park, is home to Sun Microsystems, Access Health, Corporate Express and Level 3 Communications.
• Recreational Facilities and Outdoor Sports - From Boulder to Aspen, the northern peaks of the Front Range offer premier skiing. Rocky Mountain National Park provides hiking, biking, fishing and hunting.
• Public and Private Schools - Coyote Ridge Elementary is a brand new elementary school located in the Broadlands West neighborhood. Broadlands' older students will attend Westlake Middle School and the new Legacy High School adjacent to Broadlands east boundary which opens in the Fall of 2000. Broadlands' schools are part of Adams County District 12, an award-winning, five-star school district serving Broomfield. Holy Family Catholic School is a private school choice located across from Broadlands on the north side of 144th.
• Colleges and Universities - The University of Colorado, Denver and Boulder, Colorado State University, University of Northern Colorado, University of Denver and Metropolitan State College are just a few of the universities only a short distance away.
• Shopping Centers - Broadlands Towne Center at the corner of 144th and Lowell, when completed, will probably include a large grocery store, smaller convenience retailers, and restaurants. Flatirons Crossing Mall located off Highway 36 and the 96th Street Interchange is home to Nordstroms, Dillards and many other upscale retail stores, restaurants, an outdoor amphitheater, a cineplex and lake for winter ice skating.
• Medical Care and Hospitals - Centura Avista Hospital, along with a host of other medical facilities, provide excellent medical care. Specialty care hospitals such as Rose Medical Center, National Jewish, and The Children's Hospital are close by in Denver.
• Sporting and Cultural Events - Just minutes away you'll find The Pepsi Center (home of the Denver Nuggets & and Colorado Avalanche), Mile High Stadium (home of the Denver Broncos), Coors Fields (home of the Colorado Rockies), the Denver Center for Performing Arts, the Denver Zoo, the Denver Museum of Art and more.
